Daylight is one of the six maidens who attend the Queen of Light in the fairyland of Tititi-Hoochoo the Great Jinjin.
She is a brilliant damsel with frank manners and laughing eyes. She dresses in robes of many colors.
Like each of her companions, she waits upon the Queen at chronologically appropriate times. Her duties might appear to overlap those of her colleague Sunlight, though logically there will be times when their periods of attendance will not coincide. (Tik-Tok of Oz)
