Evelyn

Evelyn[4] is a character that appears in Oxenfree II: Lost Signals that can be talked to through channel 7 of the walkie-talkie.[5] She also serves as a tutorial for the map and walkie-talkie mechanics, and guides Riley through part of the game, since Evelyn is her nightwatch.[6]

Biography

Evelyn is an environmental researcher who works at a lab that studies anomalous frequencies.[7][8] At the beginning of the game, she explains to Riley that her job and Jacob's is to place transmitters that will relay signals back to the lab so they can analyze them.[9]

Evelyn has a sister who lives on Camena's coast.[10] On Riley's first day on the job, Evelyn is supposed to have dinner with her sister but does not have any news of her, and is understandably worried. Later in the game, her mother calls to ask about it. The player can choose to let Evelyn focus on her family at the end, or not.

Appearance

Although Evelyn does not appear physically in the game, a post on the official Night School Studio's Twitter account revealed her appearance.[11] She has fair skin, brown eyes, and long wavy blonde hair in a messy bun. She wears red glasses and a grey turtleneck.
