Mirza (Arabian: ميرزا) is a character featured on ABC's Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. He is portrayed by Michael Sangha, with his younger self portrayed by Daniel Zolghadri.
Biography
Background
Mirza is the son of the Sultan of Agrabah, and is therefore his heir. When the Sultan's bastard son, Jafar - Mirza's half-brother - lives at the royal palace but as a servant, the Sultan encourages that Mirza repeatedly slaps Jafar, stating that if one day Mirza will be Sultan, people must fear him. The Sultan eventually drowns and kills Jafar, and has his body dumped outside the kingdom.
Years later, Jafar returns as an adult, very much alive and now wielding very powerful dark sorcery. He challenges Mirza, who attempts to run away, but Jafar uses his magic to shatter every bone in Mirza's body, killing him.
