Yameii, also known as Yameii Online, is a Vocaloid^[3] rapper and singer and the "hero" character of OseanWorld.^[4] She was given powers by Space God, who took them away until she regained them fighting to escape Deadric City.^[5][6]

Appearance

Yameii is depicted in a wide range clothing and colors that change often, but her most common depiction is as a young, light-skinned woman with blue and pink checkered haired styled with bangs, two buns tied up with blue bands, and a prominent ahoge. She has two black tattoos, one on the front of her neck, and another under her right breast that says OseanWorld. She typically wears a blue and pink pastel mixed crop top with the logo of the Shadow Kids on it, and pink and blue shorts and thigh high socks.

Story

Origins

At some point, Yameii is granted her powers to travel between realms by Space God ("Friday Night Basements").^[7] She later wakes up on a mountain and travels through portals journeying to many different realms. She is brought to the Null by Space God for traveling between worlds too much and not doing what he intended when he gave her powers, so he takes them away but says she will regain them one day ("Phantasy Star Online").^[8]

Adventures

Yameii, Kami, and Saddboy meet Labaeyga after he wakes up from his travel through the Null to OseanWorld on their way to Deadric City ("wake up labaeyga").^[9] Yameii fixes Labaeyga in his TVHead form sometime after his experience in Deadric City when he gets stuck to a metal structure. Saddboy tells Labaeyga he "made Deadric City" and they have to go because the King of Dreams is there and Kami flies them away ("wake up tvhead").^[10] After dreaming about Space God taking her powers away, she awakens on the train to Deadric City with Labaeyga, Kami, and Saddboy ("fallen angel").^[11] Labaeyga later recalls the reason they all went to Deadric City was because someone told them there were secrets there ("remember L!").^[12]

Deadric City

Yameii, now trapped in Deadric City without her previous memories and separated from Labaeyga, Kami, and Saddboy, attends classes at Daedric High and lives with PiNKII. She spends a lot of time playing video games to distract from voices she hears in her head, and another one of her friends suggests she should listen to them sometimes because they might have something to say ("Distractions").^[13] During class, Yameii dozes off until class is over and goes back to playing video games at home, then PiNKII and her other friend decide to bring her to nightclub called The Box. At The Box, PiNKII drops a psychedelic drug into Yameii's drink, causing her to trip. During her trip, Yameii inadvertently travels to the Endless Realm and the voices chant "REGAIN YOUR POWER RECIEVE YOUR GIFT" and she is shown a chess piece that she touches, distorting the realm and causing her to scream. Labaeyga sees Yameii enter the Endless Realm ("THE BOX").^[14] Later, Yameii jolts awake after dreaming about these events, not noticing the chess piece is now in her room ("LOVES CONFUSION"). During class, PiNKII asks Yameii if she liked The Box, who says she did and describes when she entered the Endless Realm as her favorite part, confusing and worrying her friends. The voices then speak to Yameii, whispering "FOLLOW THE HIDDEN PATH TO THE ENDLESS" and she runs to the bathroom before becoming scared by distortion in the mirror. The voices continue to chant as she runs home, and she sees the chess piece in her room, which she thought wasn't real. Yameii realizes she's now holding the chess piece, regaining her powers and then gets thrown throughout the Endless Realm until reuniting with Labaeyga, who she can't remember ("WHISPERS").^[15]

Labaeyga explains to Yameii that she has her powers back and that she was flying all through the Endless Realm, and Yameii asks how can she be here because she was just in Deadric City. Labaeyga laughs and tells her that Deadric City isn't real and is a mind maze made by Cyberspace Wizards and the only way out is by breaking the simulation. Labaeyga says he mistakenly thought he was born in Deadric City and had made himself look young, killed himself, and created his own demons and robots to fight, scaring Yameii into thinking she's going to die. Labaeyga assures her she's not, and simplifies the explanation by saying she's stuck in her brain and that he can get her out, and asks if she wants it by giving her back her memory so she'll know how to use her powers again. As he awakens her memories, he says Deadric City will try harder at killing her. His final words as she returns is to remember that nothing is real ("An Explanation").^[16]

Yameii enters an altered Deadric City and is greeted by an evil, winged shadow form of Yameii. The creature says she's Yameii, but unlike her, is the ruler of this domain and most importantly, rules over Yameii herself as her fears. Dark Yameii^[17] says she will control Yameii as long as she lives, to which Yameii denies by yelling and calling her a liar and that she has no fear and she is "the bravest fuck you know!". Yameii calls Dark Yameii an illusion and is stabbed through the chest by Dark Yameii's weapon, killing her.

Yameii finds herself in the Null in the presence of Space God, and asks him what she's doing here, and he responds be telling her that she's dead. Yameii denies she died, and "Cyber Baby Angel" Yameii tells her she's totally dead, "Requiem For My Flower" Yameii says she's dead as a doorknob, confusing Yameii on why there are other versions of her. She is told by Space God that she hasn't learned her lesson and that he will take her to the Void. Yameii argues back against sending here there and is talked out of it by one of the Yameii on Space God's head because she made it farther than the rest of them. "Ice Cream" Yameii asks why she gets to go back when none of them did despite being way stronger, "Icebaby" Yameii tells "Ice Cream" Yameii that she surely doesn't think she's worthy of going back, causing "RFMF" Yameii to tell her she'd freeze the whole realm again, then "Dreams" Yameii tells them all to shut the hell up so she can sleep. All the variant Yameii argue with each other as Yameii observes before suggesting they all merge together. "CBA" Yameii asks why she would ever merge with these weirdos, and "Icebaby" Yameii and "RFMF" Yameii continue to bicker. Yameii tries to mediate the situation to free themselves, quickly making them all agree to her surprise. The Yameii on Space God's head says this Yameii may actually be the original, to which Space God replies that they'll find out soon enough.

Yameii, now merged with her variants, revives in Deadric City to Dark Yameii's shock who notices she's much more powerful than before. Yameii becomes powered up and gets wings and glows and chases Dark Yameii and knocks her to the ground. Dark Yameii tells her she's been fighting a the wrong battle and a distraction until Yameii destroys this reality to get rid of Fear Yameii. Yameii destroys Dark Yameii, and the scene cuts to Labaeyga and Yameii. Yameii tells him after Dark Yameii disappeared, a train station lit up and that when she got in, she saw a portal back. Choice, Kami, and Saddboy discuss that both Labaeyga and Yameii went through Deadric City by themselves and that they're very rare kids. Labaeyga tells Yameii he wants to be a great wizard, and Yameii responds saying she wants a cheeseburger ("arguments and solutions").^[18]

Training

After the events of Deadric City, Yameii slowly began to regain her memories ("Chapter 1").^[19] She chose to train in Void under Choice with Labaeyga and Saddboy. Saddboy and Yameii fought a sleeping giant resembling Doom Doom known as a Laser Giant during their training and displayed her tremendous growth in a short time. She and Labaeyga's escapes from Deadric City drew the ire of the Digi, the wizards who created the construct, and are currently hunting for them ("Chapter 3").^[20] During the fight, Saddboy demonstrates his Noom, the ability to multiply, and Yameii uses her Noom, the ability to change and changes things into her guitar and later a hammer ("Chapter 4" and "Chapter 5").^[21][22]

Space God

Yameii was granted the ability to to travel between realms by teleporting through portals by Space God. She is also shown to be able to fly around and fight after merging with her other selves.^[5][18]

Noom

While training under Choice in Void, Yameii gains her Noom, the ability of change, where she can change things into objects such as her guitar or a hammer.^[23]

• Yameii's name is pronounced as "Yam-ee".^[40]
• The idea of Yameii and her visuals was created by Osean, while Deko does her music.
• Aside from "Infinite Eternity / Farewell", Deko has used the Vocaloid AVANNA as Yameii's voice.^[41]
• AVANNA was used prominently throughout Porter Robinson's 2014 album "Worlds".^[42]
• She is roomates with fellow rapper, PiNKII, and their room can be viewed in VRChat.^[43][44]
• She is running for President in 2077.^[45]
• Her birthday will be revealed in the future.^[46]
• "Pandora" and "Photon Scooter" were added to streaming services on July 6, 2021, but they listed with the same date as their YouTube uploads, January 22, 2021 and January 29, 2021. Additionally, these songs, as well as "Falling", "frvr!", "and "Floozie", are available on Spotify under a separate Yameii Online artist page, but this was later corrected.^[47]
