~ Bazil on joining Peaksnubs

Peaksnubs is one of the four Ooblet clubs based in Badgetown. It proclaims itself the club of born leaders, strong competitors, and just generally successful people.

Clubhouse

Peaksnubs operates out of Bazil's gated mansion at the north end of town. It can be unlocked by completing the Tinstle Task "Open a Peaksnubs Clubhouse," available after the player reaches Level 6. Unlike the other clubs, which request building materials to open, Bazil only asks that the player "donate" 500 gummies for the privilege of using his mansion.

Tasks

The following tasks may be requested by the club on its Todoozies Board within the clubhouse. Completing each task awards 3 Peaksnubs tokens.

Main Todoozies

The following 10 tasks will be requested first in the order shown below. The Player must accept them in order to advance to the next one, since the club will only request that specific task until it has been accepted by the Player, no matter how many days the Player ignores it. The Player can cancel any of these tasks after accepting them, and the club will still advance to the next task in the list (note: a club task can only be canceled after at least 2 days have passed since it was accepted).

  1. Bring 25 gummies (We don't even get out of bed for 25 gummies but it'll show you're serious)
  2. Sell 15 things to Meed at her terrible purchase prices because we owe her some business
  3. Win an ooblet dance battle
  4. Earn 500 gummies to show us you're a real entrepreneur
  5. Buy 5 new items of clothing to keep your look fresh
  6. Win an ooblet tournament at the Dance Barn **
  7. Bring us 6 fartichokes for us to sniff (seeds can be bought in Mamoonia)
  8. Grow a Moogy *
  9. Sell 30 things to Meed at her terrible purchase prices because we owe her some business
  10. Earn 1000 gummies to show you're a real entrepreneur

* For tasks that require a particular Ooblet to be grown, it will only consider it completed once the ooblet emerges from its plant, not when it is first planted. If you already have the requested Ooblet, you will still need to grow a new one; your existing one won't count. If you want to prepare for this task in advance, you can plant the Ooblet seed but then wait to harvest it (leave it on your farm fully grown but unopened) until after you have accepted the task.

** You must win the whole tournament. This means you have to win all 3 Dance Barn battles in the same day without losing one.

Repeatable Todoozies

The following tasks will be requested by the club after the main todoozies have been completed. A different task will be randomly requested each day until the Player accepts one. If you cancel one of these tasks after accepting it, a new task will immediately become available at the club Todoozie Board. The club will request these tasks endlessly, and the Player can complete them as many times as they want, earning 3 club tokens each time.

  • Find a new side hustle and earn 400 gummies
  • Did they not tell you about the club membership fees? Oh no worries, but that will be 70 gummies.
  • You need to show commitment to excellence. Win a dance battle to show you have what it takes.
  • It's a sellers' market. Sell Sell Sell! 30 things.
  • Be a dear and bring us 6 spressies.
  • Be a dear and bring us 4 lurge lattys.
  • You don't even have enough gummies to set up a tax scheme for. Earn an extra [400–500] gummies.

Trivia

The name "Peaksnubs" may be a reference to snub gable roofs, an architectural element in which the peak of a gable is snubbed (cut off at an angle). This is commonly misapplied in the design of so-called McMansions, large tacky houses that represent wealth but lack charm or class — perhaps like Bazil himself.
