Hunt

Hunt (狩猎战/狩り戦) is a PVE mechanism that is unlocked at level 6 and requires the player to be part of a Guild to participate.

Availability

On Mondays to Thursdays the Kirin Hunt must be opened by a leader or an officer between 19:00 and 21:00 before all guild members can participate. While the Netherworld Gate is open during the same time on Fridays to Sunday without the need of a leader or officer.

Mechanics

Participation

Everyday a leader or officer can choose from 1 of 6 Kirin for their guild to challenge. The guild must be able to win against a Kirin of a lower grade in order to challenge the next one. Kirin Hunt can be done alone or in a team. Player have 4 attempts to challenge the Kirin with different onmyouji and shikigami each time.

Schedule

The Kirin Hunt is on Mondays to Thursdays from 19:00 to 21:00.

Boss Skills

Grade 1-5*

Fire Rain (坠火/火の玉)

Type: Normal Onibi:0 Cooldown: 0

Fire Kirin calls flames to rain from the sky to attack a single target and inflicts them with a layer of Burn.

Grade 5
Affected targets take continuous damage equal to 5% of Fire Kirin's attack, lasts for 5 turns. Max of 5 layers.

Fire Breath (吐息/炎の息)

Type: Special Onibi:2 Cooldown: 0

Fire Kirin sprays flames to attack all enemies and deals an additional 100% of damage to targets with Burn.

Grade 5
Also has a 50% chance to inflict 50% reduced healing for 2 turns.

Divided We Stand (分则能成/分裂)

Type: Passive Onibi:0 Cooldown: 0

Each time Fire Kirin loses 30% of its HP, it enters the Split state and summons 5 small Kirin with random buffs. When 2 small Kirin have been KO'd the Fire Kirin will absorb the remaining small Kirin and removes Split state. Shikigami who KO a small Kirin will absorb its buff effect. Buff effects last until Fire Kirin re-enter Split state.

Tornado (龙卷/竜巻)

Type: Normal Onibi:0 Cooldown: 0

Wind Kirin focuses wind into a tornado to attack a single target, dealing damage equal to 100% of its attack.

Grade 5
Also slows their speed by 50 (cannot be dispelled), lasts for 2 turns.

Wind Kirin summons a hurricane to attack all enemies, dealing damage equal to 100% of its attack.

Grade 5
Also has a 50% chance to decreases their move bar by 30%.

Water Barrage (水风/水風)

Water Kirin focuses a torrent of water to attack a single target, dealing damage equal to 100% of its attack.

Grade 5
Also has a 50% chance to decrease their defense by 40%, lasts for 2 turns.

Fountain Surge (泉湧)

Water Kirin focuses a torrent of water to attack all enemies, dealing damage equal to 100% of its attack and restores its HP by 5%.

Grade 5
This skill changes to Shallow.


Swallow (魂噬/魂噬)

Type: Special Onibi:2 Cooldown: 0

Water Kirin form water into a shoal of fish to send a single target flying, dealing damage equal to 80% of its attack and swallows up to 5 of their buffs. When the target comes crashing back down, an additional attack damage equal to 80% of its attack is dealt. The damage dealt in the additional attack is increased by 15% for each buff swallowed.

Grade 6

Fire Kirin creates a Fire Shield after it takes an action. The shield reduces damage received by 99% for the first and second attacks it takes. The shield fails after taking a third attack and damage for that attack is increased by an extra 100%.

Each time Fire Kirin loses 30% of its HP, it enters the Split state and summons 5 small Kirin with random buffs. Type Summon (属性召唤/属性召喚)

Fire Kirin summons 4 small Kirin after losing 40% of HP. After KO'ing a small Kirin, all allies will gain their attribute. Attributes are effective others as follows:

Fire > Wind > Thunder > Water

By KO'ing the small Water Kirin, all allies gain a 50% increase to attack that lasts for 10 turn. By KO'ing the small Wind Kirin, all allies gain a 50% decrease to attack that lasts for 5 turn.

Small Kirin

When Kirin enters Split state, it summons 5 small Kirin with random buffs. The buffs are the 4-set effects for all available souls, excluding souls like Mirror Lady, Jizo Statue, and ones exclusive to Fallen Sun.

Rewards

The rewards vary in quantity and quality depending of the Kirin's grade. Rankings are determined by the damage of the player and the quality of prizes are determined accordingly. Rewards are distributed through mail immediately upon defeating the Kirin. If due to some issue the rewards were not distributed immediately, they will be sent at 21:00.

Mechanism

Five youkai are generated at random at each round. The difficulty increases with each round. There are 70 rounds, but completing them are not required for rewards.

Rewards

The quality of rewards increase with each 10 rounds completed. Max rewards are by 50.
