For the sake of finding memories, Seimei and company arrive at the Seven-Peaked mountain, however they received unexpected results.
Synopsis
Mt. Septem
Hiromasa, Kagura, Seimei and Kohaku are looking for Hakuro and Yoto Hime. They ask a nearby demon but it quakes with fear at the sound of their names and when learning their relationship to Hakuro and Yoto Hime it completely freaks out and flees. Kagura asks a small spirit who also runs away begging for mercy. They encounter the small spirit being bullied by demons for money. She is frightened and strikes them all single-handed shocking Hiromasa and Seimei.
They approach the small spirit Kusa who apologises for running away. At the sound of Hakuro and Yoto Hime, Kusa leads them to Mt. Septem where they have been purging spirits. She introduces herself to the group as Kusa.
Suspicious Kusa
Kagura finds it strange that they have been walking for a while without seeing a single spirit. Just at that moment, a spirit attacks Seimei. Hiromasa becomes suspicious and interrogates Kusa which frightens her instead.
Misunderstanding
Hiromasa chases after Kusa and they encounter Hakuro and Yoto Hime, bound by a spell. They try to ward Kusa off but suddenly a demon attacks them. Hiromasa assumes that Hakuro and Yoto Hime have been tricked by Kusa to purge demons and they disagree as they confirm that they came here voluntarily. This greatly adds to the confusion. To clear things up, Kusa requests to accompany Hakuro as she has saved her life once. Kusa starts idolising Hakuro. The same demon appears and attacks Seimei again. This time it is defeated for good. Kusa and Hakuro eventually agree to practice their skills together.
