Today, as usual, I'm here on the bridge waiting for my husband to return.
Since I passed away, I have lost track of how long I have waited.
Under the bridge, the river flows more and more rapidly. I don't know when it started but people can no longer come here.
It has been raining recently, making the days overcast and gloomy.
But it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter whether everyone else leaves. I'll always be here waiting for you.
To save me from that unknown sickness, so we could live a happy life, you sailed out to sea.
But you never came home.

You promised me that you would come home, and I believed you.
I have often become angry with you for not keeping your word, but I keep waiting.

I don’t know how many years have passed since the shipwreck, but I’m still here, waiting for you. And I forget more and more. I just stay on the bridge.
Some spirits detected my scent and approached me, so I absorbed their power. It felt… good.
If their power can cure my sickness, then maybe I’ll see your warm smile again someday. Oh my… It seems like I’ve attracted another spirit.
Doing this brings me one step closer to my husband’s smiling face.
