Lily

Overview

Lily is the B-Class Rank 74 professional hero of the Hero Association. She is a member of the Blizzard Group.

Appearance

Lily is a young girl with fair skin and bluish-purple eyes. Her most noticeable trait in her appearance is her long, black hair, which is always seen in a high-ponytail with bangs covering the right side of her face, a single light blue highlight and a white lily flower on the top of her head. She wears a standard business suit like most members of the Blizzard Group. Lily's early appearance had no highlights and a ribbon instead of a flower she wears currently.

Personality

Lily is deeply devoted to Fubuki, idolizing her and remaining fiercely loyal. She would go to great lengths for her leader, even taking on part-time jobs overnight to raise funds for the Blizzard Group to purchase their own car. In addition to her loyalty, she takes her role as a hero seriously. However, she can also be impulsive, as shown when she recklessly attacks a small Seafolk member, nearly being injured by its acid spit.

Struggle of the Blizzard Group

Lilyomake1

The Blizzard Group is in need of a new car. Fubuki notices several flyers nearby and suggests that if they all work together, they can earn enough to buy one. The group begins taking on part-time jobs for a week, and Lily opts to work at a supermarket. They work tirelessly, with Lily even taking shifts at night, but they only manage to earn 3.5 million. Like the others, Lily is surprised when Fubuki reveals that she captured criminals for their bounties. Their surprise stems from that the group had mistakenly assumed Fubuki was resorting to more questionable means to earn the money.[9]

Numbers

While the Blizzard Group discusses the various factions within the Hero Association, Lily asks Fubuki why she wants to recruit Saitama. When Fubuki challenges Saitama to a competition and asks him to bring a participant, Lily is stunned to see Bang, King, and Genos competing. Like the rest of the Blizzard Group, she is defeated by King.[10]

Lily vs Seafolk

During the Deep Sea King's invasion on land, Lily and the Blizzard Group corner a member of the Seafolk. Lily is the first to strike, but the monster retaliates with its Acid Spit. Fubuki intervenes just in time to save her, reprimanding Lily for attacking impulsively without considering the potential consequences. Feeling both ashamed and in awe, Lily begins to refer to Fubuki as "Boss Fubuki." The following day, the Blizzard Group is disheartened to find that their heroic actions were not covered in the newspaper. After Fubuki leaves, Eyelashes takes the opportunity to explain the relationship between Fubuki and her sister Tatsumaki. Lily, who had mistaken Fubuki for the older sibling, learns the truth about their age difference.[11]

Abilities and Powers

As a B-Class hero and one of Fubuki's most trusted subordinates, it can be assumed that Lily is a fairly skilled combatant, though given her ranking it's implied she isn't too strong by B-Class standards.

Psychic Combatant: It is unknown if she truly possesses psychic powers, however, it is stated that Fubuki taught her and the rest of the Blizzard Group one psychic technique:

  • Psychic Binding (念動金縛り, Nen-dō Kanashibari): An ability used to suppress the power of another esper. She first used it on Tatsumaki with her comrades, but failed miserably.[12]

Equipment

Three-section Staff (三節棍, Sansetsukon): Lily uses a blue-colored three-section staff, but otherwise she hasn't been shown fighting. It can be presumed, that she is skilled in wielding it. The three-section staff is the source of her epithet.
