Masira Pirates

The Masira Pirates is a crew of treasure hunters and shipwreck salvagers. Their captain is Masira. They are part of the Saruyama Alliance, alongside the Shoujou Pirates and Mont Blanc Cricket. [1]

Jolly Roger

The crew's Jolly Roger is a baboon head with two bananas in place of crossbones.

Crew Strength

The full power of the crew is unknown, but its captain has a 23,000,000 bounty and was able to defeat a large sea beast in one fell swoop.[2] The crew is also strong enough to establish a territory around Jaya's waters.

The ship of the crew is named Victory Hunter.[3] The figurehead is a monkey striking two cymbals. Masira's ship also has rows of palm trees going along the sides of his ship and two banana-shaped poles serving as pulleys for the monkey statue. Also on the sails is Masira's Jolly Roger.[1]

History

Past

Eight years ago, Masira and his sworn brother Shoujou showed up to help Mont Blanc Cricket find the lost City of Gold after reading the tale of Noland in Liar Noland.[4]

Sky Island Saga

Jaya Arc

The first appearance of the crew is after a huge ship fell from the sky and into the ocean, and it is here where he first meets the Straw Hats. However, a sea monster and "giants" appearing in the ocean interrupted them. Somehow as the Straw Hats attempt to escape he winds up on the Going Merry and is quickly kicked off.[2]

After the Straw Hats meet Cricket, Masira and Shoujou (whom they run into a while later) act a bit more friendly towards them and help modify the Going Merry so it can travel to Skypiea.

Skypiea Arc

When Luffy successfully rang the Shandorian Golden Belfry Bell, it brought the Alliances' dream to fruition, and proved that Skypiea does exist. Masira and Shoujou then decide to follow Cricket to pursue their next dream.
