E S, literally Gill-Breathing Steroid, is a special pill that allows humans who consume it to transform into Fish-Men. The process can be reversed with the H S.
It is unknown who owns the pills or how easily accessible they are, but at least Hody Jones owns a bottle, which he freely gives to visitors.
Appearance
The pills are flat and round, with a + mark in the middle.
Effects
When taken, the E S pills transforms a human into a Fish-Man of a seemingly random species. The transformation process happens relatively quickly and can grow limbs if necessary; Zakao was able to fully transform into a squid Fish-Man in the time it took Silk Road and Hody Jones to exchange a few sentences.
When in the form of a Fish-Man, the user gets all their traits, including increased strength and the ability to breath underwater.
The exact details of the transformation are unknown, but Blue Gilly transformed into a Merman rather than a Fish-Man.
Techniques
- Makyu: Toge Ball (魔球 トゲボール, Makyū Togebōru?, lit. "Magic Ball: Thorn Ball"): A technique used by Ndaho. He blows himself up into a giant ball with protruding spikes, which he can use to roll into opponents.
- Jodan Bakusho (上段爆掌, Jōdan Bakushō?, lit. "High-Rank Exploding Palm"): A technique used by Zakao. He simultaneously delivers six open-palm strikes to opponents around him, allowing him to hit multiple people at once. The technique is based on Kuroobi's technique of the same name.
- Koka: Kora (硬化・甲羅, Kōka Kōra?, lit. "Hardening: Carapace"): A technique used by Motoki. He quickly enters his shell, making him incredibly resistant to blunt-force attacks. This technique was able to completely defend from a barrage of punches by a Fish-Man strength-enhanced Hakuba.
- Gattai: Cho Mizu Taiho (合体 超水大砲, Gattai Chō Mizu Taihō?, lit. "Union: Super Water Cannon"): A combined technique used by Silk Road and Lip Shark. Despite the name, it does not involve fusing with the Kyara Kyara no Mi. Both Silk Road and Lip Shark shoot out large balls of water, which combine in midair to form a giant ball that explodes on their target. It appears to be based on Chew's Mizu Taiho.

The H S (
The H S pills are considered a national treasure of the Ryugu Kingdom. They take about 3 days to produce.
History
Fischer's x One Piece
When the Fischer's Pirates arrived at Fish-Man Island, they were greeted by Hody Jones and a banquet, in which they were offered the E S pills. Upon discovering their effects, all the human members of the crew took a pill, transforming into Fish-Men. They met various other humans who had similarly used the E S, before being informed by Neptune that they would require the H S to transform back.
To decide who received the H S, all the transformed humans participated in a sports festival, which the Fischer's Pirates ultimately won. They transformed back into humans, and the rest of the participants waited three days for a new batch of H S pills.
