VOID is a character and NPC in OMORI. They are one of the many mysterious creatures residing within the DEEPER WELL of the UNDERWATER HIGHWAY.

VOID is a blob creature that resembles a mix of an amoeba and jellyfish with multiple dark specks inside it.
PERSONALITY
Like the other DEEPER WELL residents, VOID appears to be aware of the truth surrounding the existence of HEADSPACE and by extension, the truth regarding MARI's death. Unlike the others, VOID appears concerned for the lengths the DREAMER would take to save his dear friend.
STORY
TWO DAYS LEFT
In DEEPER WELL, VOID appears alongside MUTE and HOLLOW within the trench that leads to HUMPHREY's cave. When speaking to them as OMORI, VOID questions him on how far he would go to save a friend, likely referring to BASIL. Speaking to them with any other party member will lead to them only hearing mumbling.
ONE DAY LEFT
After saving BASIL from BLACK SPACE and resetting HEADSPACE on the OMORI ROUTE, all DEEPER WELL residents (excluding HUMPHREY and CIPHER) appear to have vanished entirely.
However, when re-entering PINK BEACH by using a secret entrance within NORTH LAKE, most of the DEEPER WELL residents are revealed to have been left behind as empty husks, devoid of life. Strangely, VOID is not one of the corpses shown when revisiting the area. It is unknown why VOID doesn't show up at PINK BEACH.

TRIVIA
- VOID's quote ultimately alludes to SUNNY's decision whether he should save BASIL from his ongoing guilt or simply leave him to rot in his own wallowing despair. These words also foreshadows one of the final bosses of the SUNNY ROUTE.
- Interestingly, VOID doesn't appear at PINK BEACH on ONE DAY LEFT of the OMORI ROUTE despite vanishing from DEEPER WELL on the same day. This is likely an oversight or error left by the developers themselves.
