Mugs are the result of the industrialists of Oddworld and their few attempts to weaponize the native wildlife of Mudos. Mugs are thought to be a result of feeding Meetles strictly with meat, yet they may also be a result of genetic tampering. Mugs are large arthropod-like creatures that have eight legs and a set of four very mammalian eyes. Their bodies are largely armored and bear a triangular shape. They also have large slit-like mouths lined with shard razor-like fang structures. Industrial Mugs seem to have guns mounted on their backs, yet if they can use them or not is up to debate. In some notable pieces of concept art, mugs are shown working alongside sligs. Mugs have not been seen in any game so far, but they may be used in the future.
Fate
Mugs were intended to make their debut in the unmade spin-off Hand Of Odd, but they never did due to the games untimely cancellation. While Mugs have yet to make a physical appearance in any Oddworld games, they may show up in a potential future installment
