The Devil Vine was a scrapped Live Ammo concept for Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath.
Description
The Devil Vine (also called the Devil Sprout) was initially featured in concept artwork for Stranger's Wrath. The creature had many designs but was generally depicted as a small, seed-like creature. Upon being planted in soil, they would arise as tall, fully-grown plants that would drag unsuspecting Wolvarks into the ground. The devil vine would be used as Ammunition for Stranger. Due to there immense power, it could be theorized they would probably be very rare in the game. The Devil Vine would be scrapped early on during the game's development.
