Name Power (名前が持つ能力, Namae ga Motsu Nōryoku, abbreviated as NP (エスピー) ) refers to the unique abilities individuals possess, linked to the specific meaning of their names. For instance, Ralf Olsen, an agent from the Nordic Naming Bureau, whose Name Power is "Wolf Commander," can summon and control wolves. He uses this ability by summoning a wolf from a dog muzzle, which materializes in a puff of smoke, and can utilize these wolves for various tasks, including defense and healing.

Bodil Ipsen, another character, has the Name Power "Human Commander," which allows him to control other people. This ability was demonstrated when he used it to command Ralf and Ursula, making them leave his house without realizing what had happened. Bodil's power has a significant impact on his wife, Kára, who reveals that Bodil used his Name Power to force her into having a child against her will.

Ursula, who accompanies Ralf, has the Name Power "Bear," enabling her to transform into a massive bear. She uses this ability for intimidation and combat, as seen when she threatens Vivica and later transforms to protect Ralf and confront Kára.
