Veilstone City (JP) is an eastern city in Sinnoh. It is east of Route 215. leading to Mt. Coronet, and North to Route 214, leading to Lake Verity. It is home to Maylene, the Veilstone City Gym Leader as well as the Team Galactic Headquarters.

Trainers
Excluding the Gym, the only trainers the player will fight is a pair of Galactic Grunts with their rival. In Platinum, they add a new trainer in Pokémon Center.

- In Diamond and Pearl, Veilstone City only had 77 people, making it the third largest city in Sinnoh but, this was increased to 82, making it the second largest in Sinnoh
