Thexder () is a financially successful video game initially released on PC Engine, though was later released on the Famicom in 1985. The game unfortunately wasn't released on a Nintendo console in America. The porting over to the Famicom was done by Square Co., and was the first game Square published for a Nintendo system. The Original PC-8801mkIISR version was rereleased on the Nintendo Switch by D4 Enterprise via EGGCONSOLE.
