The Spirit Temple is the last temple and the eighth dungeon in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time, and is the most hazardous temple as well. It houses the boss Twinrova (Koume and Kotake). This temple requires one to have the power of the silver gauntlet and the youth of a child (Young Link and Silver Gauntlets).
Plot
The Spirit Temple, being the last temple, is mostly a pyramid-like temple that has quite a few puzzles. Link meets with Nabooru, the Spirit Sage. Nabooru plans on thwarting Ganondorf, leader of the Gerudos. Link offers to help Nabooru by retrieving the Silver Gauntlets, gauntlets that can hold 2 times the weight of a large rock (apparently, it doesn't work for the Biggoron Sword). After Link defeats the Iron Knuckle mini-boss, and gets the Silver Gauntlets, he sees Nabooru get sucked into a hole of darkness. After Link re-arrives as an adult, he journeys deeper into the temple to areas he couldn't access before. Along the way, he retrieves the Mirror Shield and defeats two more Iron Knuckles, one being a brainwashed Nabooru. Koume and Kotake emerge after this and fight Link, during which they'll use each of their elemental powers against him, with Link having to use the Mirror Shield to deflect their attacks at the opposite twin to damage them. After taking a few hits, they fuse into Twinrova, after which Link has to absorb the same elemental attack three times in a row, then deflect the attack at her and subsequently attack her with his sword while she's stunned on the ground. After doing this enough times, the two are defeated and Link meets up with Nabooru, who has awakened as a sage, congratulates him and awards him with the Spirit Medallion.
