The Mechon M42 is an enemy in Xenoblade Chronicles that are members of the Mechon family. They can be found at level 5 during the Mechon raid on Colony 9. It is fought only during the story event at the main entrance. Another variant exist and is fought at level 20 in Ether Mine near the Storage Depot during the battle to save Otharon.
