Krem Quay is a swampy and polluted area in the Donkey Kong series.

Appearance

This world has a lot of pollution in the swamps, possibly because of an oil spill along with a demolished ship in the entire middle of it. Krem Quay appears to be once a harbor where ships park, explaining the ship split in half. Later on, the harbor possibly could have sunk under the marsh.

History

Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest

Krem Quay first appears in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest as the third world located inside of the game.

In the game, the levels there are is Glimmer's Galleon, an area inside of the mysterious broken ship along with a level infested with brambles everywhere, Bramble Blast. There is also a mast level named Slime Climb along with two swampy, sticky levels named Barrel Bayou and Krockhead Klamber. There is also Kudgel's Kontest, the boss battle with Kudgel, the area's boss.

Donkey Kong Land 2

This world did not reappear in Donkey Kong Land 2 as, after it and Crocodile Cauldron sunk out from underwater, they have been fused together into Krem Cauldron. It is also possibly because of the Game Boy's graphic limitations.

Trivia

• In the Game Boy Advance version Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, Krem Quay had been relocated on the left side of Crocodile Isle instead of the right.
