Hot Head is a recurring enemy in the Kirby series, first appearing in Kirby's Adventure. They are temperamental Dream Landers with flaming hair and equally flaming breath. Hot Heads dislike being approached and will attempt to torch Kirby with searing flames expelled from their trunk-like mouth.
They can be inhaled by Kirby to turn him into Fire Kirby, giving him the ability to breathe fire just like them. Hot Heads are the most common source of the Fire ability appearing in over eight games.
At a distance, they will shoot fast-moving fireballs that travel in the players direction. Hot Head is notable for being one of the first few enemies Kirby often comes across in the beginnings of many of his journeys alongside Sir Kibble, Sparky, and Waddle Doo.
Appearance
Hot Heads are orange creatures, whose bodies mainly consist of a head with yellow or pale orange feet. Their eyes are large and bulbous jutting out from the top of their head, and they possess a small trunk in place of a mouth. Perhaps their most distinguishing feature however is their flaming hair, which ignites from the back of their head.
