Ember (ひのこ, Sparks^?) is a damage-dealing Fire-type move introduced in the first generation that attacks by spitting small flames at its opponent, with a 10% chance of causing the Burn status effect. Ember is the most basic fire type move, usable by most fire type Pokémon at a relatively early level.

Effect

Ember does Fire-type damage with a 10% chance to cause the Burn status effect. In Double Battles, Ember can target any Pokémon around the user, while in Triple Battles it can only target Pokémon that are adjacent to the user.
