Egg 1 (JP) is Yoshi's first kart in Mario Kart DS for the Nintendo DS. It is shaped as a Yoshi Egg with two exhausts and a front bumper. It is probably the most popular and famous choice when it comes to racing with Yoshi, but unfortunately, its items and drift stats are poor. The kart also appeared in Mario Kart 7 as one of the customizable kart parts.
