Ape Out is a hyperviolent action game for the Nintendo Switch published by Devolver Digital. It is about an ape escaping out of its imprisonment.

Gameplay

The game is a top-down action game where the player plays as an ape escape its cage and violently slaughtering the armed guards while it escapes each of the stages. The player can grab guards and through them but, holding on to them lets the player use them as a body shield and fire their weapon.
