Amagon(JP) is an NES video game initially released in late 1988. The game is a platforming title developed by Aicom.
Gameplay
The goal of Amagon is to get from one side of an island to the other. You take control of a marine whose plane has crashed onto the island, and oddly the ship whose objective is to rescue you has ported on the other side of where you are. While traversing the island to the ship, you'll be required to battle hordes of enemies that can be dispatched with your gun or by a transformation that allows him to plow through the onslaughts, minus your gun.
Items
In all, there are eight individual items that'll help you in one way or another. Five of them are solely used to enhance your points, and include 500, 1000, 3000, 5000, and the Black Crown, the latter of which will increase your points by 10,000. The other items in the game include a magazine, which recovers 20 bullets, the mega Key which will transform the player into Megagon, and a 1-up which will give the player an extra life.
