Captain Soto explains that the lantern shows the way to Tiger Widow Island, but does not explain which one. Nadakhan is seen holding a lantern at one point, coincidentally, the one that has the map.
Misfortune Rising
Cole is tasked to find the lantern on the Misfortune's Keep. In the process, the Realm Crystal is shot by Flintlocke. Later, the ninja ask Kai to light it, but then realize Nadakhan captured him.
On a Wish and a Prayer
The ninja brought the lantern to Cliff Gordon's estate so that they can see the map.
After Skybound
After time was reversed, the lantern was lost to sea.[1]

- The lantern is similar to the medallion from Legacy of the Green Ninja in that they are both seemingly normal objects with a hidden way to locate a fabled location.
