NCIS or Naval Criminal Investigation Service is a media franchise composed of American television programs originally created by Donald P. Bellisario and other individuals, the shows all being broadcast on CBS and based on the real-life military criminal investigations conducted by the Naval Criminal Investigative Service or NCIS for short which investigates all crimes associated with the United States Armed Forces including the United States Navy and Marine Corps.
As of the fall of 2024, NCIS and NCIS: Origins are currently airing while NCIS: Sydney aired its season finale in January 2024 while Hawaii had its series finale in May 2024.
