The minim was the fortieth part of the Calormene crescent, the unit of currency used throughout the Calormene Empire and in areas that traded with them, such as the Lone Islands.
Value
The crescent was worth about one third of the pound sterling in early 1950. This was worth approximately ₤25 in February 2010[1], which means that a Calormene minim was approximately equal to the February 2010 American dollar.
