Boggles were grotesque, goblin-like creatures that were among those most loyal to the White Witch, which fought for her in her army at the First Battle of Beruna.
They arrived in answer to her summons, when she sent her wolf, Vardan, to gather them and various other dark creatures, to prepare for the coming war with Aslan and his army. They were also present at the sacrifice at the Stone Table.
Description
Boggles are fat, brown-skinned, and have large pig-like noses. They also snort like pigs.
Video Game Adaption
Boggles also appeared in the The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and Wardrobe (video game). In the game, they are seen somewhat differently to the way they are in the film. They appear to be slow, but still fat, and with an enormous nose, somewhat like pigs. They also carry a large axe, and are shown to be strong, similar to the Orcs of J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord Of the Rings Trilogy.
