History

Grant's mother, Helen Davis, witnessed a crime within the Holt Group and was a whistleblower for their criminal activity. She was placed into witness protection, with the state agent placed in charge of watching over her was Sergeant Thom from Horseshoe Bay, Maine. They had an affair despite his marriage and conceived a child together, a son named Grant. Thom returned home but Helen didn't tell him about her pregnancy. In the later 2010s, Grant's younger half-brother Ace became an experienced hacker. Ace hacked into a government database and learned that he potentially had a half-brother.

• Grant mentioned in The Trail of the Missing Witness that Grant is actually his middle name which he goes by. It’s not known what his actual first name is since that episode was his last appearance since he went back in Witness Protection Program to be with his mother.
