"Life savers, again. Thanks! Super invited to my shindig next weekend. Cool kids only."
―Thad before he runs away after Uzi and N saved him from Eldritch J in "Heartbeat".
Thad is a supporting character in Murder Drones.
He appears in most of the show's episodes, including the trailer.
Physical Appearance
Thad is a Worker Drone with neon green eyes, silvery blonde hair (light gray in the PILOT), and a maroon cap with white accents worn backwards. The hat has a brown insignia of a football with a plug. He sports a maroon vest with yellow sleeves, along with a black T-shirt depicting a white zero, and also wears red shoes.
Prom Outfit
During Prom, Thad wears his normal baseball cap in addition to a red suit, pants, black shoes, and tie.
Camp Outfit
Thad's outfit that he wears to Camp 98.7 is near identical to his casual outfit, with the only difference being that he wears a different undershirt that reads "Camp 98.7."
Personality
Much like his friend, Uzi Doorman, Thad has a streak of bravery that most other Worker Drones lack. While this first showed itself in his willingness to talk to Uzi (while others wrote her off as a weirdo), he was also willing to stand up to Disassembly Drones despite how their combat ability outclassed his in every conceivable way.
It is perhaps this willingness to act that led him to be so disgusted with the Worker Defense Force after they froze up when confronted with a real problem - one that couldn't be solved with their doors. He also appeared to have believed the various posters tacked within their colony and was shocked when Uzi's own father left her to die instead of making any attempt to help her at all.
Thad is also quite the loyal friend, leaving the safety of the colony just to give Uzi back her railgun, which she had previously left behind after leaving on a self-imposed exile. He also accompanied her and Serial Designation N to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a Worker Drone, and after being captured by the culprit and freed by the duo, he even speaks disparagingly to his former captor.
Generally, his behavior is similar to that of a high school jock, though is noticeably kinder than his friends. He is generally the "cool kid," carrying a skateboard with him while also being very polite and friendly.
Biography
Season 1
PILOT
Thad is one of Uzi's classmates. He is first shown walking out of a hallway after talking to one of his friends, Chad. He then sees Uzi and sits down to talk to her. Uzi wonders how Thad knows her name, to which he responds that "everyone knows Khan's daughter." He also says that her bandages are "pretty badass," much to her embarrassment.
Thad then asks Uzi about her railgun, which she pridefully talks about using to fight the Disassembly Drones. However, he questions if it's really necessary, as Khan built doors so that the Worker Drones wouldn't have to fight the Disassembly Drones. Uzi brushes him off and walks away, though she adds that she's not mad, just "generally hormonal."
Near the end of the pilot, after J and V break into the colony's base and evacuation spot, Thad gets thrown across the floor and starts bleeding out oil. However, he persists in fighting the Disassembly Drones and picks up a metal pipe. He is in disbelief at how the Worker Defense Force talks about building a door instead of fighting to defend themselves, only to get stabbed by V, about to get killed when Uzi and N arrive.
Thad gets thrown aside as V, J, N, and Uzi fight, Uzi versus J, and N versus V. After the battle, Uzi kills J and N ties up V. Thad then goes up to congratulate Uzi and N. Khan then approaches the two, only for Uzi to lash out at him for not believing her and leaving her for dead, shocking everyone around them, before she and N leave while dragging V behind them.
Heartbeat
Thad seemingly followed Uzi, N, and V outside, returning Uzi's railgun to her. He thanks her and N for saving the colony, and tries to reason with her about the banishment. He then mentions the recent disappearances of their fellow Worker Drones and J's corpse. Thad also says that when he went to grab Uzi's railgun, it "crawled away." The three decide to return to the colony's base.
The three then walk back to the base along with N, who was allowed in after apologizing to Ron. The three investigate huge, strange oil splatters against container ships, and also notice strange prints that mention the Absolute Solver. Their investigation is cut short when N notices a human hand crawling near them, before grabbing Thad's leg.
Uzi points her flashlight towards a long wire connected to the hand, as N fires a rocket launcher to where the wire is, revealing a huge, centipede-like creature crawling up the area. Thad suddenly gets dragged by the hand but is freed when N throws a ninja star at the wire, cutting it off. However, Uzi and N get slammed against the container ship behind them, as Thad gets grabbed by a claw and dragged to another room.
Eldritch J creates a hologram of Thad in an attempt to deceive N and Uzi, though it very poorly mimics his behavior and a rather bemused N throws a shuriken at it. Being nothing more than a projection, the shuriken passes through it, and flies up and slices through the wires that bound Thad. After falling to the ground and recovering his senses, he invites N and Uzi to his "shindig," expressly excluding his two times captor, and leaves the scene.
The Promening
Thad is seen dancing and doing one-handed push-ups in the prom, trying to impress his teacher with his dance moves, albeit failing to do so. When V appeared at the prom, Thad is seen frightened (likely recognizing her as one of the Disassembly Drones who tried to kill him), but later applauded her after Lizzy told him and the other Worker Drones to, though in a significantly more reluctant manner than the others.
Uzi and N then appeared, and when Doll used her solver to trap V, Thad was thrown away alongside several other Worker Drones. After the doors were unlocked, Thad left the prom off-screen.
Cabin Fever
After the events of the prom, Thad's class goes on a "school trip" to Camp 98.7. When they get off the school bus, he helps Lizzy off before leaving himself. Once all the students are off the bus, N and V take charge of the class (the whole trip being a front for Uzi's investigation and their teacher not caring enough to stop them), and because of their previous encounters with both of them, Thad and Lizzy join N and V's sides, respectively.
Only after they join the two Disassembly Drones and they are reminded of Uzi's presence, they follow N and V. Thad is not seen for the rest of the "school trip," but he somehow manages to survive the carnage and is back on the school bus when what remains of the class rides back to the colony.
Mass Destruction
Thad and Lizzy leave the colony together, as Lizzy tells Thad she has something to show him. When Thad asks Lizzy if her "secret friend" would like to know about football, the area suddenly loses gravity before returning to normal. Then, a ship lands nearby, Lizzy claiming that this was the reason she brought him out here. Lizzy and Thad are prepared to attack, but the spire explodes and the ship ejects.
When they approach the ship, Khan arrives and the area loses gravity once again. J exits the ship, and attempts to contact Tessa, but she gets hit by the bus from Cabin Fever, causing her to lose her keys to the ship. Angered, she points her gun at the bus, and demands to know who the drivers were. Instead, she sees Lizzy and Thad posing ominously in the fog, with Thad holding a metal pipe and Lizzy the railgun.
Absolute End
Thad is first seen stuck on the ground where he tries reaching for the railgun after losing his pipe weapon. He is later seen floating in space with Lizzy, Khan, and the Red-eyed Sentinel named Sparky, which lights an explosive causing everyone to panic.
After Khan closes the doors on Cyn to distract her, Thad throws the railgun down for Uzi. After Cyn is defeated, Thad jumps out from a pile of rubble using his skateboard and saves Lizzy from falling to her death. When Sparky arrives with the school bus, Thad flees with Lizzy and Khan.
In the present when Uzi finishes her presentation, Thad cheers for her, along with N. During the credits, Thad attends Doll's funeral and also leaves the colony with Uzi, N, V, and Lizzy.

Trivia
- Thad is one of the few Worker Drones who has made friends with a Disassembly Drone, the other two being Uzi and Lizzy.
- He is the only known male Worker Drone to currently have hair.
- Thad was originally planned to have a more prominent role in the series, but his importance decreased over time.
- During the entire episode of "Cabin Fever", the lights on his hands and chest are neon purple instead of the usual neon green. This is most likely an animation error.
- When asked about the characters ages, Liam said they're meant to be in their older teens, meaning Thad is possibly 17-19 years old.
- Thad appeared in every episode until "Home", since the majority of the episode took place inside a memory that he was not present for.
- He also wasn't featured in "Dead End", which is the second episode he hasn't been in.
- During GlitchX, when asked where Thad went, Liam Vickers jokingly responded with "He was too powerful." He then went on to explain that Thad became too busy with school and sports to make a reappearance in future episodes.
- This was in fact, a lie, as Thad made a major appearance in "Mass Destruction" and the following episode.
