Wolfram Wolf appeared in a 2005 episode of Sesamstrasse, the German co-production of Sesame Street. Wolfram is the new postman on the street, but finds that the residents of Sesamstrasse are afraid of him. All Wolfram wants is to deliver his mail. Rumpel is the only one who isn't scared, and eventually the issue is resolved.
The wolf puppet was also used as several other characters, including Piratenkapitän Wolfdietrich Säbelmeier.
