Wolf Blitzer (b. 1948) is a journalist and news anchor who has been a reporter for CNN since 1990, hosting The Situation Room since 2005.
In 2011, Kermit the Frog appeared with Blitzer on The Situation Room to discuss Kermit's appearance at the National Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony and to talk politics.
Blitzer has appeared in a number of movies and shows, often portraying a fictionalized version of himself, including Murphy Brown, Skyfall, Mission: Impossible – Fallout, House of Cards, and Shazam! Fury of the Gods. A parody of Blitzer appears in the Creature Shop-effects film Cats & Dogs.
