Vanilla Fudge

American rock band Vanilla Fudge has been described as "one of the few American links between psychedelia and what soon became heavy metal."[1] Interviewed in the Jim Henson/Jon Stone documentary Youth 68, the band's original lineup recorded five albums from 1966 to 1969, before disbanding in 1970.

Members as of Youth 68 were Mark Stein, Tim Bogert, Vince Martell, and Carmine Appice.
