Tragins are an alien species seen in the miniseries Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars. By the time of the Peacekeeper-Scarran War, Tragins were hired by the Peacekeepers as mercenaries.
While Moya is en route to Arnessk, a group of Tragins catch Pilot off guard and use harpoons to ensnare the Leviathan, damaging her hull. The Tragins get on board and announce they have orders to commandeer any ship not broadcasting a Peacekeeper ident. Scorpius unsuccessfully tries to fool them into thinking Moya is a Peacekeeper vessel, and firefight breaks out.
