tagesschau is Germany's oldest and most watched daily television news program. It has a daughter show in tagesthemen, focusing more in-depth on the daily topics of the news, and a nighttime version in nachtmagazin. All three shows air on ARD network (including NDR), are produced in Hamburg, and share a studio.
