"Swanee", a standard American show-tune first popularized by Al Jolson in the musical Sinbad, was performed twice on The Muppet Show.
In episode 402, the song was performed by a group of German penguins and pigs. Presented as "an old German folk song," the Muppets perform the folk song from the American south as a polka (Kermit comments on the song as "it's not from West Germany, it's not from East Germany, it seems to be from, uh… South Germany?")
In episode 501, the song can be heard during a backstage sequence, playing as Prince Rudolph performs onstage with his invisible cheeseburger.
