Spike is a monster who appears in Sesame Street Episode 2750. He has gray fur, wears a matching vest and shades, and displays a hip attitude. Having just gotten a furcut from Barbra the Barber, he meets Telly Monster on his way to get his, accompanied by Mike and Uncle Wally.
Spike's haircut looks slightly uneven due to the tuft of fur hanging down the left side of his head. He also had the word "go" inscribed on the back. When asked why, Spike says it's because there wasn't enough room to write "broccoli." He tells a rather dubious Telly to enjoy his furcut and then does what it says on his head and goes.
