Simu Liu (b. 1989) is an actor known for playing the lead character in the Marvel Comics movie Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
In 2021, Liu appeared in the Sesame Street special See Us Coming Together celebrating Asian-American and Pacific Islander cultures. Of his appearance, Liu tweeted, "I can't believe I got a selfie with Big Bird." [1]
His film work includes appearing as an extra in Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim (with Idris Elba) and One True Loves (with Phillipa Soo), with TV roles on Nikita, Warehouse 13 (with Brent Spiner), The CW's 2012 version of Beauty and the Beast, Orphan Black (with Tatiana Maslany), Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens, and Star Wars: Visions.
