Rodeo Rosie is a cowgirl who first appeared on Sesame Street in Season 6. She's very loud and brags about herself a lot. She has a tendency to lasso other characters, mistaking them for wrongdoers, and she has a horse named Lance.
She never took off as a major character, but has made many appearances in Sesame Street books. In one such book, Show and Tell, she tells the class she got her lariat from her cousin Duane from Oklahoma.
In a cameo in the animated adaptation of the book Everyone Makes Mistakes for Three Sesame Street Stories, Fran Brill provided the voice for the character.
