Rob Mounsey

Rob Mounsey is a composer and keyboardist who worked on the Puppetman pilot, with Phil Ramone, including the theme song. He later worked on songs for the "Dog City" installment of The Jim Henson Hour.

Mounsey backed or arranged music for recording artists Roberta Flack, Gladys Knight, Diana Ross, Paul Simon, and Diana Krall. Mounsey composed incidental music for Sex and the City (and appeared in one episode as a pianist) and the 1988 film Bright Lights, Big City (with Michael J. Fox), as well as arranging music for The Warriors (1979). He played electric piano for John Belushi's songs in Animal House and scored the TV movies Kings of South Beach and Citizen Jane, plus many national commercials.
