Pogey is an excitable and often clueless Fraggle, introduced in Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock. They frequently annoy the other Fraggles, especially Red, by introducing themselves with a yell of "I'm Pogey!"
They make minor, recurring appearances throughout the series. Their most prominent role prior to season 2 is in the episode "Red and the Big Jump," serving as the "whooper" for Red's "Floop, Bloop, and Whoop" team.
Pogey makes a prominent appearance in the episode "I'm Pogey," where they help Wembley learn how to be his true self with help from The Great Glitterini. Here, it is revealed that they are non-binary, and have gotten into the habit of yelling "I'm Pogey!" at inopportune times not out of ditziness as one would assume, but out of pride for their name, as it took them a long time to find the right one.
