Narf is one of the quartet of fun-loving monsters on Sesame Street’s Monster Clubhouse segments. Like Cookie Monster, he has googly eyes and speaks in broken English. Outside of the Clubhouse, Narf taught Pino to play with other monsters by singing "Don't Be a Bully."

The puppet continued to appear in later seasons as a background monster, such as in Episode 4522 where he is one of the movie theater patrons. He was also recycled as Phil, one of three monsters who help Grover demonstrate tall, taller, and tallest in a season 45 insert.

Narf has made a few appearances as a generic monster on My Sesame Street Friends. In "My Abby: Museums," the puppet is performed by Tyler Bunch with a different voice, though the episode's subtitles identify the character as Narf. He also appeared in the Cookie Monster's Foodie Truck episode "Overnight Oats," referring to himself by name and performed again by Bunch with a voice closer to the original.

Notes

• On 5, Rue Sésame, Narf is one of the main characters and is called Yoyo. He is portrayed as a very worried monster who makes friends easily. The puppet is also used in The Furchester Hotel as one of the Tea Time Monsters and in Sesame Amigos.
