Mean Girls is a 2004 comedy film starring Lindsay Lohan, based on Rosalind Wiseman's 2002 book, Queen Bees and Wannabes.
The film later spawned a 2011 sequel on ABC Family and was adapted into a Broadway musical in 2018, which was then adapted to film in 2024.

- October 3 has been considered "Mean Girls Day" by the film's fanbase, referencing a line of dialogue from the film. Marking the occasion, Elmo sent a tweet on October 3, 2021 reading, "You can always sit with Elmo," referencing another popular line from the film.
