Mary Brehmer joined the Jim Henson Company in 1992 as a puppet and costume designer. She received three Emmy Award nominations for her work on The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss and Bear in the Big Blue House. She also served as an additional puppeteer on Muppets Tonight.
For her non-Henson credits, Brehmer has created costumes for Saturday Night Live and the ice show versions of Pixar's Monsters, Inc. and Finding Nemo. She also designed the puppets for Magic Tree House: the Musical and the character Banjo for PBS Kids Sprout's The Let's Go Show. She additionally built puppets for Scooby-Doo! Adventures: The Mystery Map, a direct-to-video special produced by Adam and David Rudman.
