Markir Tal is a Peacekeeper technician who appears in the Farscape episode "Fractures."
Preparing for a weapons test on a group of prisoners, Tal was tasked with doing a last-minute check-up on their pod. However, the group overpowered Tal, knocking him unconscious. The prisoners hijacked the pod and are later found by Moya.
Tal is placed in one of Moya's prisoner cells. When a distress call is sent to the Peacekeepers, Tal is the first to be suspected, despite not having moved from his cell. Orrhn is eventually found to be the suspect, and the two work together to escape Moya. With Rygel in tow, they shoot their way into a transport pod.
Crichton and Aeryn catch up, and Tal is killed by their gunfire.
