Lurlene is a chicken who appears in Sesame Street Episode 3435.
A streetwise hen, Lurlene joins Elmo and Rosita as they attempt to plant and grow something in the yard. She breaks the news to them that their first crop of eggs won't grow from trees as they come from chickens like her. However, she does not apply this logic to spaghetti when the monsters decide to grow that instead.
During her brief time on the show, she exemplifies behavior not typical in many Muppet chickens. She is quick to remind others of her name and has a penchant for playing tag. She also knows the second half of the alphabet, calling it the "halfabet."
