Layla Capers is an actress who appeared in some "I Wonder, What If, Let's Try" segments during Season 51 of Sesame Street.
She has performed on Broadway in The Lion King and School of Rock. She also appeared in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and the Hallmark Channel movie A Holiday in Harlem.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, she performed songs from her porch to thank doctors, nurses, health care workers, and essential workers.[1]
