Kevin Spacey (b. 1959) is an Academy Award-winning actor known for starring in films such as L.A. Confidential (with James Cromwell), American Beauty (with Annette Bening), and The Usual Suspects (with Stephen Baldwin), and for playing Frank Underwood on House of Cards.
In 2015, Spacey appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon playing a game called "Phone Booth." The game also featured an appearance by Big Bird, though the two did not interact. Later that night, in a series of tweets, Spacey posted an image of him and Big Bird backstage at The Tonight Show. Spacey tweeted, "After #FallonTonight, Big Bird asked me if Frank Underwood was referring to him when he said: "Competence is such an exotic bird in these woods that I appreciate it whenever I see it."[1][2]
