COLD OPEN What's the Word on the Street?: Disappointed

SCENE Hooper's Store is throwing a special party for kids and their grandparents in the yard. Elmo tells Chris and Alan how excited he is to see his grandma and grandpa, as he hasn't seen them in a long time (and they live far away). Elmo leads Rosita, Baby Bear and the rest of the party in a song in praise of the grandparents.
SCENE cont'd After the song, Chris calls Elmo over with some bad news - the flight his grandparents were going in on was cancelled and they won't be arriving until tomorrow, when the celebration will be over. Elmo is saddened, but is suddenly pulled away by Baby Bear.

SCENE cont'd Baby Bear introduces Elmo to his Grampy Bear, who addresses everyone as "Baby". He also has a hard time with all the electronic gadgets his wife keeps buying for him and recalls a simpler time when he was a cub. In a flashback, he describes all the fun in the woods he'd have with his friend Harold (Peter Linz) and the most technology they had was cup and string phone. Baby Bear loves hearing old stories from him and they go off to make a phone.
SCENE cont'd Elmo is still upset his grandparents aren't coming, but tries to replace them by having Alan and Chris dress like them (as well as do their voices correctly). Rosita drags him off too, and Alan and Chris go change (though Chris finds himself enjoying the dress).
SCENE cont'd Rosita introduces Elmo to her abuela, who sings a traditional Mexican song with them. They suddenly hear a strange beeping...

SCENE cont'd ...coming from Grampy Bear's laptop, which he doesn't know how to fix. Chris gets an idea and borrows it. He calls over Elmo, having set up a video chat with his grandparents. They apologize for their absence and Elmo begins introducing them to all his friends.

Muppets / Animation Abby's Flying Fairy School
Today is Letter B Day and the students have brought things that begin with B. Abby brings a bunny that begins to bop everyone on the head. Consulting her Big Book of Bopping Beasts, Mrs. Sparklenose discovers that he's Little Bunny Foo-Foo. To get him to stop bopping they need to turn him into a goon. Gonnigan gets in the way and is turned into a goon (Blögg: "He's Goonigan!"). After de-goonifying him, they Twinkle-Think and get the idea to attach him to their heads. Being Letter B Day, Blögg uses some bubblegum, but Bunny Foo-Foo frees himself just as the spell is cast, turning Blögg into a goon (though his appearance remains unchanged). Abby places a carrot on her head, but he escapes just in time again and Abby becomes a goon. Because of Letter B Day, they must use some B-word vegetables. He goes for the bait and is turned back to a goon. With no more bopping, he leads the class in a ballet.
